কোলে বসিয়ে একটি পাতা মেলে ধরুন। বাবু ছবির দিকে তাকালে একটু সময় দিন, তারপর আস্তে কথা বলুন। দুটো বই একসঙ্গে সামনে দেওয়ার প্রয়োজন নেই; একটি স্পষ্ট ছবি আর পরিচিত কণ্ঠই ছোট্ট এই দেখার সময়টিকে একসঙ্গে থাকার মুহূর্ত করে তোলে।

০–৩ মাসে কাছ থেকে ছবি দেখা ও কণ্ঠ শোনা; ৩–৬ মাসে দৃষ্টি অনুসরণ, হাত বাড়ানো ও জেগে থাকা অবস্থায় টামি টাইমে সামনে রাখা। বড়রা বই ধরে দিন এবং বাবু মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে বিরতি দিন। ঘুমের জায়গায় বই রাখবেন না।
